Manendragarh. (26:04): On April 25, 2024, under the direction of Collector and District Election Officer Mr. D. Rahul Venkat and with the guidance of Project Director Mr. Nitesh Upadhyay, voter awareness is being actively promoted across the district through various mediums under the SVEEP program.
To ensure maximum voter participation in the Lok Sabha elections, a 100% voting oath was organized on the spot under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in several villages of Khadgawan district as part of the ongoing voter awareness campaign under SVEEP. Villagers, including youth, women, and men, actively participated during the ongoing works in Gram Panchayats under MNREGA. They were administered an oath to vote 100% as part of the voter awareness initiative.
Under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Vinod Jaiswal, visits were made to ongoing work sites in Gram Panchayats including Tamdand, Jarodha, Pondidih, Tedma, Udhnapur, Govindpur, and Duggi. Workers were motivated for the voter awareness campaign, and necessary instructions were given while inspecting the polling stations. MNREGA POs and TAs were also present during the visit.
