Raigarh. (27:03): Yesterday, on 26/03/2024, a report was lodged by a local woman in the police station Kotwali against Rajendra Yadav and Nimendra Khunte for molesting the women of the locality.
The woman told that on the night of 26th March, on the Holi festival, the women of the locality were dancing and singing while playing musical instruments. At the same time, Rajendra Yadav and Nimendra Khunte forcefully entered among the women to dance, but when they refused, both of them did not agree and behaved indecent with the women. They started teasing and started fighting.
On the written application of the reporter, a crime number 188/2024 was registered against the accused Rajendra Yadav (age 21 years) and Nimendra Khunte (age 28 years) under relevant sections of assault and molestation and immediately the Kotwali police team arrested the accused and sent them to judicial custody. Has been sent on remand.
On the instructions of police station in-charge Kotwali Inspector Sukhnandan Patel, lady head constable Aruna Chaurasia and Hamrah staff constables Jagmohan Ogre, Banarasi Sidar and Manoj Patnaik have played a special role in the immediate process of locating and arresting the accused.
