New Delhi. (19:03): The Supreme Court has instructed Baba Ramdev and Balkrishna to appear regarding the alleged misleading advertisements by Patanjali Ayurveda and non-compliance with court orders. The case will be heard in two weeks.
Contempt notices have been issued to them, and they have been directed to provide explanations for the alleged misleading advertisements. The court’s displeasure arose from Patanjali Ayurveda’s advertisements despite giving an undertaking to the court. The court also questioned Baba Ramdev’s involvement in the advertisements and warned of contempt proceedings. Additionally, the court expressed dissatisfaction with the Central government’s response and ordered it to submit a satisfactory reply.
