Raipur. (17:04): In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a kidnapping case has emerged, where a young man lured the director of a private finance company under the pretext of a home loan. Arriving at Pachpedi Naka Chowk by bike, the businessman, Nikhil Kosle, was met by three individuals in a car, who engaged him in conversation before forcefully taking him away. They subjected him to physical assault inside the car, pressuring him to sign blank papers and demanding Rs 25 lakh cash and a Fortuner car.
However, near Subhash Stadium, Nikhil managed to escape from the car and sought refuge at the police station, alerting his wife of his whereabouts. Fearing repercussion, the assailants fled the scene. Nikhil subsequently filed a kidnapping report at the Tikrapara police station, where he detailed the involvement of Irfan Ullah Khan, Zuber, and Raju Bhai. Police are currently in pursuit of the accused.
It was revealed that Irfan had lent money to Nikhil for a loan last year, which had not been disbursed nor repaid, leading to a dispute. Nikhil has previously faced legal repercussions, having been jailed for nine months in a fraud case and subsequently released on bail.
