Raigarh. (02:04): Under Collector Karthikeya Goyal’s directives, CMHO Dr. V.K. Chandravanshi conducted a surprise inspection of Boirdadar Old Age Home and Jatan Center.
During the visit, 65 patients at the old age home and 12 at the Asim Chhaya old age home were examined, including checks for blood pressure, diabetes, and eye health. Advice on dietary habits and hygiene was provided to all 77 patients. At Jatan Kendra, where all staff were present, 33 patients were undergoing treatment in the physiotherapy center. The CMHO emphasized cleanliness standards and proper dress code compliance. With rising temperatures, he urged residents to prevent heatstroke by staying hydrated, carrying water bottles and umbrellas, and limiting outdoor exposure during peak sun hours. Pregnant women, children, and the elderly were advised to avoid sun exposure between noon and 4 pm.
