New Delhi. (10:03) Content creators often resort to unconventional methods to gain attention, sometimes using public spaces for their activities. Some creators choose to dance in buses, while others prefer trains.
Recently, several videos featuring young individuals engaging in provocative dances in public have sparked debate regarding the appropriateness of such behavior in public spaces. One such viral video depicts a girl dancing to Shakira’s popular song “Waka Waka” in a crowded train, garnering mixed reactions from internet users.
The accompanying caption, “Why is this uncle smiling like this?” sparked widespread outrage, with the video quickly amassing over 1 million views. Social media users expressed strong disapproval and anger towards the incident, with one user suggesting that those around the man could legally file a case against him under section 268 of the Indian Penal Code for creating public nuisance.
Another commenter remarked, “People are more embarrassed than him,” while another questioned, “I have only one question. Why?” This isn’t the first time the girl in the video has faced criticism for dancing in public spaces; her Instagram feed contains numerous videos of similar incidents. The comments section of the boy’s Instagram account is flooded with negative remarks.
