The supporters/complainants have stated in the application given to the police that youth Keshav Patel, also known as Sonu, has been consistently making derogatory posts and comments about OP Chaudhary on social media platforms for a significant period. They assert that these actions not only tarnish the image of the State Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA OP Chaudhary but also aim to generate hatred, anger, and enmity towards the residents of his hometown, Bayang. Furthermore, they claim that these posts are intended to disturb harmony and peace, as well as to foster animosity on the basis of religion among the general public towards Finance Minister OP Choudhary. The complainants argue that there is an attempt to agitate the public against the government by creating feelings of hatred and animosity.
In the written complaint, the complainants have attached copies of screenshots of some excerpts of the derogatory posts posted by Sonu Patel on Facebook. In these posts, it is written that “OP has to become a big man and has to wreak havoc, he is a public leader. If you want to do dictatorship, tell me, wasn’t Collectorate a big post?” Another post reads, “Today is the last and heavy night for OP, remember your misdeeds, then your self-respect will not support you OP.” Additionally, there are statements like “Don’t let OP Chaudhary and Poonam Sonanki come in front of me, then all BJP people will be respected.” and “Have some shame OP Choudhary, you fugitive people can only copy and paste.”
The complaint also highlights the provocative statement: “Why does Raman’s broker not have the courage to fight from the tribal area or where the collectorate is done? Raigarh will not suffer from misery but will be dog speed.” Another statement mentioned is “It will not take 2 minutes to tell the status of OP Choudhary.”
