Sunaina of Bastar Fighters patrolled until her 7th month of pregnancy; Sailendri, a homemaker with two kids, passed the police constable exam

Raipur. (08:03): On International Women’s Day, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited Javanga in Dantewada district and met with military women from DRG, CRPF, and Bastar Fighters of Narayanpur. During the interaction, Bastar Fighters team commander Sunaina Patel shared her remarkable journey, revealing that she patrolled the jungle until her 7th month of pregnancy and received commendation from Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani and an out-of-turn promotion for her role in a Naxalite encounter.

Expressing admiration for the dedication of these women, Chief Minister Shri Sai reflected on the sacrifices made by mothers, emphasizing their unparalleled resilience. He commended the mothers who, like Sunaina, continue to work tirelessly during pregnancy, highlighting their extraordinary commitment.

During the conversation, Sailendri of Danteshwari Fighters shared her story of perseverance, revealing how she, as a 33-year-old housewife and mother of two, overcame obstacles to qualify for the police constable exam. The Chief Minister praised Sailendri’s determination, stating that her success serves as an inspiration to all, underscoring the unique strength of mothers.
