Chhattisgarh. (11:05): In Chhattisgarh, on the instructions of the Education Minister, summer camps are going to be organized for students in schools during summer vacations.
For which the School Education Department has started preparing an action plan under which all the schools have been asked to conduct activities regarding organizing summer camps and give related information to the department.
Summer vacation in schools is effective till June 15, 2024 in the state. During this period, students can develop versatile skills by engaging them in creative activities. Guidance from parents and teachers of students can be useful in creative activities. Guidelines have been issued for organizing summer camps for mutual creative activities among students.
Under which summer camps for students can be organized in schools or community places of village/city. Experts from the art field/creative field can be invited to the summer camp and students can be provided guidance/training from them.
In the summer camp, cooperation of school teachers, parents of students and school development committee will also be taken. The following creative activities like painting, singing, playing, essay/story writing, handwriting, dance, sports, historical introduction of your village/city etc. will be conducted in the summer camp.
Before organizing the summer camp, consent will be taken from the School Development Committee and Parent Teacher Committee. This event will be completely voluntary and summer camps will be conducted between 07:00 am to 09:30 am.
