Raipur. (07:04): Since the formation of the BJP government in Chhattisgarh, there has been a concerted effort to honor the commitments outlined in Modi’s pledge. Alongside introducing new schemes in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Vishnudev Sai administration asserts that it has largely fulfilled its manifesto promises, including initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Awaaz scheme benefiting 18 lakh households, bonuses for farmers, procurement of paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal, and providing Rs 1,000 to women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Furthermore, the government has initiated a CBI inquiry into irregularities in the Public Service Commission examination, demonstrating a proactive approach towards governance. The BJP camp is energized about fulfilling its commitments, signaling a focus on delivering relief to the people of Chhattisgarh.
Amidst these developments, women across the state eagerly await the fulfillment of a significant promise – the provision of gas cylinders for Rs 500. This pledge, part of Modi’s guarantee, ensures that eligible women in the state receive domestic gas cylinders at concessional rates. Addressing this commitment, CM Vishnudev Sai made a significant announcement during an election meeting.
The Chief Minister affirmed his commitment to fulfilling all promises, noting that most have already been accomplished. Regarding the affordable gas cylinders, he assured that this pledge would also be honored after the Lok Sabha elections. Consequently, there is optimism that women statewide will soon receive the beneficial gift of discounted gas cylinders, akin to the benefits provided under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
