Chhattisgarh. (05:05): Special initiatives have been undertaken in Raigarh district to motivate voters and increase voter turnout during the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Sangwari, Divyang, and Youth polling centers have been established across all four assembly constituencies of the district.
Ten Sangwari polling centers have been set up in each assembly constituency. These include polling stations such as Lailunga-2, Pakargaon, Kerabahar, Gaurmudi, Gerwani-2, Khairpur-1, Gorkha-1, Urdana-1, Vijaypur-1, and Vijaypur-2 in different locations.
In Raigarh City, polling stations such as Bal Mandir Rooms 1 to 4, Ayurvedic Office Rooms 1 to 4, and in front of the District Panchayat Office, Jatan Kendra Bhawan Rooms 2 and 3 have been designated as Sangwari polling centers.
Kharsia constituency has polling centers including Chodha, Basmuda, Kharsia City Tribal Hostel Kankubai Dharamshala, Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School, Kharsia Municipality Bal Mandir, and Kharsia City Municipality Girls High School.
Dharamjaygarh constituency includes polling stations like Dharamjaygarh-2 to Dharamjaygarh-14, spread across various locations in the area.
Additionally, one disabled polling booth has been created in each assembly constituency. For instance, in Lailunga constituency, the polling station building of Devgarh has been designated as a disabled polling station. Similar arrangements have been made in Raigarh City, Kharsia, and Dharamjaygarh constituencies.
Furthermore, one youth polling center has been established in each assembly constituency. For example, in Lailunga, Jhagarpur Polling Center Building, Room Number 1, has been designated as a Youth Polling Centre. Similarly, polling centers in Garhumaria, Madanpur, and Dharamjaygarh Colony have been allocated as youth polling stations in Raigarh City, Kharsia, and Dharamjaygarh constituencies respectively.
