Raigarh. (30:04): A message has been given to vote as much as possible on May 7th for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Raigarh district. The process of deploying paramilitary forces for election duty is underway, with arrangements made for their stay in different police station areas.
Today, under the direction of Collector Kartikeya Goyal and Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, gazetted police officers, police station/post in-charges, and paramilitary force personnel conducted a flag march on foot in both urban and rural areas across the district. During the march, police officers urged citizens to vote without fear on the voting day.
At the district headquarters, Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel led the security forces in a flag march at major intersections of the city. The main aim of the march is to raise awareness among citizens about security and to send a message to anti-social elements that they should not disrupt peace and order. The district administration, police, and paramilitary forces are fully prepared to ensure peaceful elections in the district.
