Bengaluru. (10:04): Bengaluru Police arrested employees of a private company accused of orchestrating an attack on their manager. After a viral video showed the manager being assaulted in the middle of a road, five people were arrested, including two colleagues and three hired goons tasked with the assault.
The assaulted manager, identified as Suresh, an auditor, was attacked by a gang of goons wielding iron rods in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru. The incident was captured by a dashboard camera in a car.
The accused employees, Umashankar and Vinesh, worked with Suresh for a year. They claimed Suresh pressured them to work faster and was troublesome in his demeanor. They alleged he demanded immediate settlement of daily transactions, despite the process previously taking several days. Frustrated, they plotted to retaliate.
They enlisted the help of three individuals to carry out the assault. However, after the video went viral, police swiftly apprehended the accused. Bengaluru Police shared details of the incident in a press conference posted on their official Instagram handle.
