Raigarh. (29:04): A tragic incident has emerged in the Kotar police station area of Raigarh district, where the body of a young man was discovered on the railway tracks near village Kalmi, JSPL Khamba No. 590/2. The incident occurred last Sunday, sparking shock and concern throughout the area.
Upon discovery of the body, villagers alerted the Kotra police station. Initially unidentified, the young man was eventually identified as Omprakash Shriwas, a 28-year-old resident of Akaltara in the Janjgir Champa district. His father, Dasrath Shriwas, confirmed his identity. Omprakash’s mental health was reported to be unstable.
Preliminary investigations suggest a case of suicide. The police have informed the family and are continuing their inquiry into the matter.
