Raipur. (10:05): On May 9th, 2024, Saraswati Nagar police station received a tip-off that a person was seen near Government School, Kota, carrying a yellow-colored bag with the intent to sell intoxicating tablets.
Upon receiving the information, our personnel swiftly responded and surrounded the individual. The person identified himself as Soyam Sharma, also known as Vijay. Upon searching him, the police found 160 pieces of bound intoxicating tablets valued at Rs 1136. The police confiscated the tablets and registered a case under Section 22(c) of the NDPS Act at Police Station Saraswati Nagar with case number 123/24. The accused, identified as Shoyam Sharma alias Vijay, son of Beju Sharma, aged 19 years and residing at Masjid Road, Kota Raipur, was apprehended.
