Jashpur Nagar. (17:03): Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal has invoked Section 04 of the Noise Act 1985 in Jashpurnagar, prohibiting the unpermitted use of loudspeakers for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Campaign-related loudspeaker use in moving vehicles is allowed only from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm with authorization. Public meetings, processions, and vehicle loudspeakers require permission from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Jashpur, Kunkuri, Pathalgaon, Bagicha, and Farsabahar sections.
