Raipur. (13.04): In a rescue operation, Raipur police seized 32 boxes of Punjab state-made English liquor and a Hyundai Ascent car used for liquor transportation from a suspect.
Following received information, Raipur Police, in their rescue campaign, apprehended Jitender Pal Singh for alleged illegal smuggling and storage of Punjab state-made English liquor. Some boxes of liquor were reportedly stored by the accused in a shop located at Amaleshwar in the Durg district.
Raipur Police confiscated a total of 32 boxes of Punjab state-made English liquor and a Hyundai Ascent car used for liquor transportation from the accused. Charges under Section 34(2) and 59(A) of the Excise Act have been filed against the accused by the police.
