Sarangarh/Bilaigarh. (28:04): Collector and District Election Officer Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, along with representatives from political parties, oversaw the first supplementary randomization of ballot unit machines for Lok Sabha Constituency 03 Janjgir Champa. Out of 463 machines, 451 were selected for the elections in the Bilaigarh area.
Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu stated that all voting machines are securely stored in the warehouse under the collector’s supervision. They will then be distributed to assembly-wise strong rooms. The election symbols of candidates contesting in the Bilaigarh Assembly on April 29th, 30th, and May 1st, 2024, will be recorded in the machines. For polling stations in the Kasdol area of Baloda Bazar district under the Bilaigarh assembly constituency, EVM machines will be provided to Baloda Bazar and then returned to the strong room after voting. The Collector requested local representatives to be present whenever the Strong Room in Sarangarh is opened or closed.
