Chhattisgarh. (13:03): In Chhattisgarh, the appearance of ration cards is undergoing a change, with a new color and design featuring the CM, Food Minister, and PM.
Previously, the cards depicted former CM Bhupesh Baghel and ex-Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat. Around 40,000 new cards are set to be distributed, now displaying “Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.” Large crowds are gathering at various offices to obtain these new cards. The change is criticized by Congress, citing inconvenience for citizens who recently acquired cards. However, the alteration seems aimed at incorporating individuals’ photos onto the cards.
