Raipur. (10:03): Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh, connecting virtually with Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath.
A total of Rs 655.57 crore was transferred by the Prime Minister to 7,012,800 eligible beneficiaries of the scheme through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
This initiative ensures that married women in Chhattisgarh receive Rs 1,000 per month and Rs 12,000 annually under the scheme.
