Chhattisgarh. (12:04): The election notification for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Chhattisgarh will be issued today, Friday. Candidates for the Raipur, Durg, Korba, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh, and Surguja parliamentary constituencies can file their nomination papers until April 19. The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on April 20, and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is April 22. Voting for the third phase is scheduled for May 7.
Nomination processes for the first phase in the Bastar parliamentary constituency and for the second phase in the Mahasamund, Kanker, and Rajnandgaon parliamentary constituencies have been completed. A total of 52 candidates are contesting for these four seats. Voting for the first phase will be held on April 19, and for the second phase on April 26.
