During his court appearance on March 22, Kejriwal asserted that he wouldn’t resign as CM, stating readiness to govern from jail if needed. BJP’s Manoj Tiwari countered, saying governments don’t operate from jail, but rather by legitimate means.
On Saturday, Kejriwal’s legal team challenged both the ED’s arrest and the lower court’s remand decision in the Delhi High Court, citing them as unlawful. They sought Kejriwal’s release and requested an urgent hearing by March 24. However, the High Court declined an immediate hearing due to the Holi holiday, scheduling it for Wednesday, March 27, when the court resumes.
