Kawardha. (18:04): Mob lynching reported in Kabirdham district: Dharamsingh Dhurve dies in Damgarh village of Kukdoor police station area. Ten suspects, including a woman, have been arrested by the police. Allegedly, Dharam Singh was searching for cattle in the village when he was captured, tied, and beaten throughout the night.
The victim claimed that the accused demanded a ransom of Rs 50,000, leading to his murder when it wasn’t paid. However, the accused assert that Dharam Singh molested a village woman, prompting their actions. The incident resulted in Dharam Singh’s death due to severe beating and torture. The arrested suspects, including one man and one woman, have confessed to their involvement in the crime during police interrogation.
