(10:03): In Atal Awas, situated within the jurisdiction of Sakri police station, a tragic incident unfolded during a 24-hour altercation when the younger brother wielded a sword, fatally injuring his elder sibling, who succumbed on the spot. The deceased’s wife, children, and parents witnessed the dreadful scene. Despite prior reports from locals, the police failed to arrive promptly or utilize the emergency hotline. Nevertheless, authorities have since apprehended the perpetrator.
The incident occurred at Atal Awas in the jurisdiction of Sakri police station. It is reported that a dispute arose between two brothers, Manmohan Banjare, who works as an auto driver, and Moolchand Banjare, who earns a living as a daily wage laborer. Late at night, while under the influence of alcohol, a heated altercation ensued between the siblings, witnessed by their parents and Moolchand’s wife.
The altercation began late at night and persisted into Sunday. In a fit of rage, the younger brother, Manmohan, who works as an auto driver, attacked his elder brother with a stick and bamboo. By around 10:30 pm, Moolchand succumbed to the relentless assault, falling to the ground. Despite prior reports to the police station, law enforcement failed to arrive on the scene in time to prevent the tragedy. Consequently, there is widespread frustration among locals, who believe prompt police intervention might have saved Moolchand’s life. Despite the presence of family members, no one intervened to defuse the situation, leaving Moolchand to tragically perish before help could arrive.
