Departmental nodal officers have undergone training sessions.
Raipur. (20:03): The ‘Complaint Monitoring System’ software, developed by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, is aimed at swiftly addressing election-related complaints received through various channels during the Lok Sabha General Elections – 2024 on March 19, 2024.
Under the guidance of Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Nileshkumar Mahadev Kshirsagar, and Joint Chief Electoral Officer Mr. P.S. Dhruv, training sessions were conducted today for departmental nodal officers. The training aimed to equip nodal officers with detailed knowledge on promptly addressing complaints. IT department officials provided training on utilizing the ‘Complaint Monitoring Software’ for efficient resolution of election-related issues.
During the meeting, Mr. Asim Thwait from NIC highlighted the implementation of the ‘Complaint Monitoring System’ (CMS), developed by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, for swift resolution of election-related grievances. Through this system, digitized complaints are directed to the respective department’s nodal officer, ensuring prompt redressal.
Departmental nodal officers were briefed during the training on the digitization process for manually received complaints and those from platforms like C-Vigil or social media. These complaints will be swiftly forwarded to the relevant department’s nodal officers for resolution within specified timelines. Nodal officers are required to promptly address issues and report resolutions to the Chief Electoral Officer’s office. Emphasis was placed on prioritizing the resolution of election-related complaints. The training was attended by nodal officers from various departments, including senior officials from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
