Raipur. (20:03): On March 19, 2024, 1720 children received gold medals at the Government Ayurveda College Hospital in Raipur to enhance their healing abilities, digestive power, memory, physical strength, and disease prevention. The Kaumarbhritya Department of the Ayurveda College Hospital administers Gold Prashan to children aged 0 to 16 years on every Pushya Nakshatra Tithi. Additionally, pediatrician Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi conducted health examinations for the children alongside the Swarnprashan ceremony.
Under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. G.R. Chaturvedi, Hospital Superintendent Prof. Dr. Praveen Kumar Joshi, and Head of the Department of Kaumarbhritiya, Prof. Dr. Neeraj Aggarwal, the gold medals were awarded at the Government Ayurveda College Hospital premises. Swarnprashan coordinator Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi emphasized the holistic benefits of this practice for children’s development. Postgraduate and undergraduate students of the college contribute significantly to this monthly event. Earlier this year, on January 25th, 1235 children received gold medals, and on February 21st, 1402 children were honored with gold medals by the Ayurveda College Hospital.
