(07:05): During the third phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 7, voters in 93 parliamentary constituencies across 11 states and union territories participated in the democratic process to elect a new government. People of all ages, including families and friends, came out to vote, showcasing high morale among elderly and disabled voters. Voters from various categories, including the elderly, youth, and women, arrived early at polling stations to participate in this festival of democracy, resulting in long queues at the booths.

Former Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh and current MLA Baikunthpur, Shri Bhaiya Lal Rajwade, cast his vote at booth number 11 in his hometown Sardi under Assembly 03 Baikunthpur, reaffirming his support for the Modi government and good governance. He also visited various polling booths in Koriya district to monitor voting and encourage workers. Observing the large voter turnout in Korba district, MLA Bhaiya Lal expressed confidence that BJP candidate Ms. Saroj Pandey would secure a significant lead in Korba Lok Sabha, reflecting people’s enthusiasm for re-electing the Modi government.

MLA Bhaiya Lal highlighted the increased voter turnout from around 76 percent in the Baikunthpur Assembly elections in 2023 to about 80 percent in the Korba Lok Sabha elections held on May 7. He thanked the people of Korea for their strong participation and praised BJP workers for ensuring 100 percent voting. He expressed optimism that with the people’s support, BJP would secure victory on all 11 seats in the state, with the lotus blooming across Chhattisgarh.
