Dr. B.K. Chandravanshi, Chief Medical and Health Officer, emphasized the importance of preventive measures and initial treatment for heatstroke. He advised applying cold water compresses and increasing fluid intake in case of high fever, along with seeking medical attention promptly. Additionally, Dr. Kalyani Patel, District Epidemiologist, highlighted the symptoms of heatstroke and stressed the significance of staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, especially between 12 noon to 4 pm. She recommended covering the head and ears with cotton cloth when going out, along with consuming plenty of fluids, fruits, juices, and yogurt to prevent heatstroke.
