Raipur. (17:04): On April 16, 2024, Golbazar police station’s team arrested Hari Soni, a bookie, for conducting betting activities near the Pink Toilet at Shastri Market within Golbazar police station’s jurisdiction.
Hari Soni, aged 37 and residing at Madrasa Road, Baijnath Para Raipur Hall, located opposite Arya Samaj School, Old Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Civil Line Raipur (Chhattisgarh), was found in possession of Rs. 10,060 in cash and betting slips. A case (numbered 152/24) under Section 6 of the Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act was registered against him at Golbazar police station.
