Raigarh. (23:04): General Observer IAS Dr. Anshaj Singh conducted an inspection of the KIT Strong Room complex today. He reviewed arrangements including the movement of machines, distribution and return of voting materials, and access roads for completing the election work. Additional Collector and Deputy District Election Officer Rajiv Kumar Pandey accompanied him during the inspection.
Dr. Singh inspected the strong room complex for the four assemblies located in KIT Strong Room Complex Garhumaria. He observed the signatures of public representatives after placing the machines in the strong room and reviewed the CCTV camera security arrangements. Additional Collector Pandey informed him about the CCTV cameras installed for security, adequate forces deployed, and separate corridors designated assembly-wise for machine movement.
The General Observer also inspected the counting place, tabulation room, and CCTV monitoring room. He examined the strong rooms assembly-wise and the CCTV cameras installed in the corridors. Additional Collector Pandey mentioned that political party representatives have been provided with facility to monitor CCTV cameras for security reasons, and parking along with assembly-wise stalls have been arranged in the campus for material distribution.
Deputy Collector Rekha Chandra, DSP Akhilesh Kaushik, District Senani Nagar Sena B. Kujur, SDO PWD M.S. Nayak, and other officials and employees were also present during the inspection.
Furthermore, General Observer Dr. Anshaj Singh inspected various polling stations under Raigarh Assembly. He visited Sangwari polling station number 113, stadium complex polling station numbers 57 and 55, and Ayush Hospital polling station numbers 75, 75, 81, and 110. He inquired about the electoral roll from the BLO and distribution of slips, ensuring that the work is being completed efficiently.
