Raipur. (05:05): In Raipur, a young man befriended a minor girl on Instagram. Started talking to him on mobile phone. As their friendship grew, the accused came to work as a laborer in road construction work near his house. Then the two started meeting. During this time, the accused trapped the minor in his web of love.
After this he continued to physically abuse me for 6 months. When the girl’s family came to know, they complained to the police station. The police have registered a case against the young man under Rape and POCSO Act, arrested him and sent him to jail. The matter is of Arang police station area. The family members of the minor victim complained to the police station on May 3. He told the police that Surendra Lodhi (23 years), resident of Kalai village, had befriended his minor daughter through Instagram. After this, both of them started talking to each other on the phone, due to which their friendship deepened.
During this time, Surendra started working as a laborer in road construction near the victim girl’s house. From here the period of mail meetings between the two started. The young man slowly trapped the minor in his love trap. After this, both of them were in a relationship for about 6 months, from December 2023 to May 2, 2024. Meanwhile, the accused continued to physically exploit her. Meanwhile, the girl’s family came to know about this. When they interrogated him he narrated the entire incident. After which the whole matter reached Arang police station. As soon as the police received the complaint in this case, the accused Surendra Lodhi was arrested within 24 hours, presented in the court and sent to jail.
