Surajpur. (09:03): An instance of tampering at the Prime Minister’s residence has been uncovered in Gram Panchayat Jur.
The Sarpanch and the Secretary conspired to divert the sanctioned house amount allocated to the deceased woman by depositing it into another account.
Narendra Sahu from village Jur lodged a complaint at the collector’s office, alleging that a house sanctioned in his deceased grandmother’s name in 2019-20 was diverted to another account by the Sarpanch and Secretary. District Collector Rohit Vyas initiated an investigation upon receiving the complaint. Based on the investigation report, legal action has been ordered against the Sarpanch and Secretary of Jur, with discussions underway regarding potential recovery measures.
