The Collector, along with officials, inspected the training sites and directed to ensure all arrangements are in order. Over 3,500 personnel will partake in Lok Sabha election training.
Chhattisgarh. (06:04): District Election Officer, Shri Vilas Bhoskar, inspected Holy Cross Convent School, Patpariya, and Carmel School, Namanakala on Saturday. The first phase of training for smooth conduct of voting in the Lok Sabha elections will commence on April 8th. Presiding Officers P0 and P1 will be trained at Holy Cross Convent School, Patpariya, while P2 and P3 personnel will receive training at Carmel School, Namanakala.
Collector Shri Bhoskar instructed the relevant officers to ensure uninterrupted power supply, provision of drinking water, adequate food arrangements, and other necessary logistics during the training sessions for presiding officers and polling officers.
The Collector instructed Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Amolak Singh to oversee traffic arrangements during the training sessions. He emphasized the need for smooth traffic flow after the training, directing Municipal Corporation officials to maintain cleanliness and provide sufficient dustbins at the venue. Additionally, he instructed the Food Department to arrange food and the EE PHE to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water.
A total of 1846 personnel for P0 and P1 categories, and another 1846 personnel for P2 and P3 categories, are scheduled to undergo training. Sessions will be held at Holy Cross Convent School, New Building, Patpariya on April 8th, 20th, and 29th. Likewise, training sessions will take place at Carmel School, Namanakala on April 12th, 22nd, and 30th.
