Muzaffarnagar. (01:04): The convoy of BJP candidate and Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan was attacked during an election campaign in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Several vehicles were vandalized, and multiple BJP workers sustained injuries. The incident occurred during a public meeting at the residence of Prime Minister Rakesh Singh in Madharimpur village.
Unknown individuals began raising slogans and later resorted to abusing, beating, and pelting stones at the convoy vehicles parked outside. In the chaos, BJP workers Nitin Som, Chhotu Som, Abhishek, and Bhim Singh Chauhan were injured and hospitalized. Minister Sanjeev Balyan stated that anti-social elements were responsible for the attack, which damaged 8 to 10 convoy vehicles. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and assured that necessary action will be taken to maintain peace and order.
