Raigarh. (22:03): “As per Superintendent of Police Mr. Divyang Kumar Patel’s directives, a meeting was held on March 22, 2024, at the Police Control Room in Raigarh. Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Akash Markam convened the meeting, which involved ERV drivers and constables from Dial 112 across five police stations in Raigarh and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh districts, in preparation for the upcoming Holi festival.”
Additional SP Akash Markam emphasized the significant role played by Dial 112 in assisting the public during times of need. Stressing the importance of maintaining the credibility of Dial 112, he highlighted the responsibility of the police in meeting the expectations of the community. Ahead of the Holi festival, he underscored the vital duties of Dial 112 staff and police patrolling, urging them to promptly respond to every call for assistance during events. Markam emphasized the importance of disciplined conduct during the festival to prevent unnecessary conflicts. Furthermore, he issued instructions to officers, including accurately documenting incidents and capturing photographs as per the prescribed format, ensuring uniformed duty, and managing duty changes efficiently. At the meeting, constables and drivers, such as Amit Bhagat and Manoj Sahni from Dharamjaigarh Rhino, and Dhananjay Khandekar and Dushyant Lahere from Kosir Rhino, who were recognized by the Police Headquarters for their commendable work, were lauded and presented with certificates by the Additional SP. The meeting was attended by all Rhino drivers and constables, along with DPCR in-charge Sub Inspector Pushpendra Kumar.
