(29:04): This morning, village Kotwar Uttaradas Mahant Bermuda, resident of Kotra Road police station, informed about the dead body of an unknown man lying in the mud of the drain below the big pond of the village. On information, Kotra Road police reached village Bermuda for investigation. Where the dead body of an unknown male, aged about 40-45 years, was found lying in the drain sludge.
There were no marks of injury or scratch visible anywhere on the body. Due to the dead body being a few days old, the body was infested with worms. The deceased was wearing a gray colored shorts of “Nike” company. An announcement was made in the surrounding villages by the investigating police officer to identify the deceased and trace his heirs, but the deceased has not been found. In this case, Kotra Road Police has established a path and kept the body in the mortuary.
Kotra Road Police has informed the police stations of the district and surrounding areas about the discovery of an unknown dead body, asking them to check the missing persons of their police station and inform if a match is found.
