CT scans are now available at the district hospital using the Ayushman card

Date:

Korea. (13:03): The Ayushman card has emerged as a crucial lifeline for the underprivileged sections of society, instilling greater confidence in the district hospital.

Baikunthpur MLA Mr. Bhaiya Lal Rajwade and Collector Mr. Vinay Kumar Langeh are diligently overseeing the primary and community hospitals, including the district hospital, in Korea. This proactive approach aims to enhance patient care and treatment standards.

Thanks to the concerted efforts of State Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal and MLA Shri Bhaiya Lal Rajwade, a significant number of doctors have been deployed recently. Dr. R.S. Sengar, the Chief Medical Officer of the District Hospital, reported that out of 1,420 patients who underwent CT scans, 870 received free examinations through the Ayushman card. Moreover, approximately 1,641 patients have benefited from dialysis services provided by the hospital.

The National Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is extending various facilities, encompassing maternal and child healthcare, non-communicable disease screenings, and mental health services. The recent additions of an anesthesiologist and radiologist at the district hospital promise to further enhance patient care.

The installation of a sonography machine at the Community Health Centre in Sonhat has alleviated the concerns of residents, particularly pregnant mothers from the Ramgarh area, who previously had to travel long distances for treatment. The provision of free examinations for 413 pregnant mothers has alleviated financial, mental, and physical burdens.

Furthermore, the Health and Wellness Center in Saraighana, Baikunthpur, has received national recognition under the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS). The Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Clinic Scheme has facilitated medical examinations and dispensation of medicines to approximately 74,000 patients across 17 Haat Bazaars, addressing various health concerns through diagnostic camps.

Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh has instructed district officials to conduct regular visits to hospitals in remote areas to ensure adequate staffing, provision of medicines, and overall healthcare services. This proactive approach underscores the commitment of the district administration to prioritize the well-being of all residents.
