Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma appealed to Chief Minister Shri Sai for the holistic development of the district. Before inaugurating the projects, Chief Minister Shri Sai conducted rituals at the Karma Maidan complex and extended Mahashivratri wishes to the people. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, MP Mr. Santosh Pandey, Pandaria MLA Mrs. Bhavna Bohra, former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Siya Ram Sahu, former MLA Mr. Ashok Sahu, District Panchayat President Mrs. Sushila Ramkumar Bhatt, and other dignitaries. During the event, Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed materials worth Rs 1.5 crore under the Fisheries and Horticulture Department’s beneficiary-oriented scheme. Additionally, he distributed new ration cards and Ayushman cards to beneficiaries. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and performed the Bhoomi Pujan for nine projects, totaling Rs 107.07 crore, aimed at irrigation capacity and reservoir canal expansion in Kabirdham district. Notable projects include the Borodakhurd Reservoir Scheme, remodeling and expansion work of Agari Minor, construction of Bhatkundera (Thathapur) Diversion Scheme, canal lining work of Sonjhari Reservoir Scheme, gate improvement and canal lining work of Saraipatera Diversion Scheme, renovation and construction work of Chheerpani, dry drain renovation, repair of Belhari reservoir and main canal, among others. Additionally, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai laid the foundation stone for 143 development and construction works, totaling Rs 11.03 crore under Mandi head. He also inaugurated two community buildings in Gram Panchayat Kalyanpur, each costing Rs 6.50 lakh.
