Response to Chief Minister Saiji’s statement about preventing the Congress from opening its account

Date:

Bilaspur. (27:04): In response to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s statement, former MLA Shailesh Pandey criticized the use of arrogant language during Lok Sabha election campaigning. Pandey expressed concern over the Chief Minister’s statement of denying Congress even a single seat, labeling it as ego-driven. He likened the statement to a bulldozer approach and urged the Chief Minister to address pressing issues such as inflation and unemployment, rather than focusing solely on political rhetoric.

Pandey questioned why the Chief Minister doesn’t demand action from the Prime Minister to address the rising inflation and provide employment opportunities to the millions of unemployed youth in the country. He highlighted the public’s distress over inflation and the suspension of long-distance trains in the Bilaspur Railway Zone, along with the daily occurrences of criminal incidents and power cuts in the state. According to Pandey, the BJP fails to address these issues, while the Chief Minister remains silent on unemployment and inflation.

Pandey criticized the Chief Minister’s stance of not allowing Congress to open its account, considering it as arrogant. He asserted that the people of the Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency would respond to the BJP’s actions.

Furthermore, Pandey confidently predicted that despite BJP’s efforts, the MP from Bilaspur would be from Congress, with Devendra Yadav’s victory assured. He anticipated that the public would ensure Congress’s victory on most seats in the state. Pandey highlighted that the Chief Minister campaigned for BJP in the Masturi assembly constituency, where Congress MLA Dilip Lahariya had previously defeated the BJP candidate by over 20,000 votes.
