पाकिस्तान से प्रायोजित सीमा‑पार आतंकवाद, विशेषकर ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ के परिप्रेक्ष्य में, दुनिया की प्रमुख राजधानियों में भारत के रुख को उजागर करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने सात सर्वदलीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल भेजने की घोषणा की है। इसके बाद पाकिस्तान ने भी ऐसी ही पहल के संकेत दिए हैं। पूर्व विदेश मंत्री बिलावल भुट्टो‑जरदारी के नेतृत्व में एक पाकिस्तानी दल प्रमुख विदेशी राजधानियों का दौरा कर सकता है।

भारत के प्रत्येक सात‑आठ सदस्यीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल में पूर्व राजनयिक भी शामिल हैं। 51 नेताओं में से 31 सत्तारूढ़ एनडीए तथा 20 गैर‑एनडीए दलों से हैं।

बैजयंत पांडा, रविशंकर प्रसाद (दोनों भाजपा), संजय कुमार झा (जदयू), श्रीकांत शिंदे (शिवसेना), शशि थरूर (कांग्रेस), कनिमोझी (द्रमुक) और सुप्रिया सूले (राकांपा‑एसपी) की अगुवाई वाले दल 32 देशों तथा यूरोपीय संघ मुख्यालय (ब्रसेल्स) का दौरा करेंगे।

शनिवार शाम जरदारी ने सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज़ शरीफ़ ने उन्हें अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर ‘शांति के लिए पाकिस्तान का पक्ष’ रखने हेतु प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करने को कहा है और उन्होंने यह जिम्मेदारी स्वीकार कर ली है। हालांकि इस पर इस्लामाबाद की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई। पाकिस्तानी मीडिया के अनुसार, दल में हिना रब्बानी खर, खुर्म  दस्तगीर खान, जलील अब्बास जिलानी और संभवतः रूस के लिए पूर्व राजदूत तारिक फातिमी भी शामिल हो सकते हैं। रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक यह दल यूरोप, अमेरिका, रूस, ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस और बेल्जियम जाएगा।

उधर भारत‑पाक वार्ता प्रस्ताव पर विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर ने दोहराया कि भारत आतंकवाद के मुद्दे के सिवा किसी और विषय पर बात नहीं करेगा; सिंधु जल संधि भी आतंकवाद ‘अप्रतिवर्तनीय रूप से’ रुके बिना बहाल नहीं होगी। उन्होंने कहा, जम्मू‑कश्मीर से जुड़ा एकमात्र विषय पाकिस्तानी कब्जे वाले क्षेत्रों को खाली कराना है।

Delhi (18/05): An army spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that the ceasefire India and Pakistan reached on May 12 remains in force.

Addressing speculation that the truce might end today, he stated, “The pause in hostilities agreed upon by the two DGMOs carries no expiration date.” He added that no further talks between the DGMOs of both countries were planned for Sunday.

पहलगाम हमला: भारत आज यूएनएससी की 1267 प्रतिबंध समिति को टीआरएफ के खिलाफ नए सबूत सौंपेगा

भारत आज संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद (UNSC) की 1267 प्रतिबंध समिति के सामने पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकी संगठन लश्कर-ए-तैयबा के सहयोगी संगठन द रेसिस्टेंस फ्रंट (TRF) को वैश्विक आतंकी घोषित करने की मांग के साथ नए और ठोस सबूत पेश करने जा रहा है।

CNN-News18 को सूत्रों ने बताया कि भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल आज ऐसे सबूत पेश करेगा जो पाकिस्तान की आतंकी साठगांठ को उजागर करेंगे, विशेष रूप से 22 अप्रैल को पहलगाम में हुए हमले में TRF की भूमिका को रेखांकित करते हुए। इस हमले में 26 लोग मारे गए थे। भारत द्वारा प्रस्तुत डोजियर का उद्देश्य TRF को वैश्विक आतंकी संगठन घोषित कराने की कोशिशों को मजबूती देना है, जिसे व्यापक रूप से पाकिस्तान समर्थित लश्कर-ए-तैयबा का मुखौटा संगठन माना जाता है। टीम TRF के सदस्यों पर प्रतिबंध और यात्रा प्रतिबंध लगाने की भी मांग कर सकती है।

यह तीसरी बार है जब भारत TRF को सीमा पार आतंकवाद से जोड़ने वाले प्रमाणों के साथ 1267 समिति का रुख कर रहा है। भारतीय अधिकारियों के अनुसार, पहले की दो कोशिशों को ठोस सबूतों के बावजूद रोक दिया गया था।

क्या पाकिस्तान TRF को बचा रहा है? :

पाकिस्तान, जो यूएनएससी का अस्थायी सदस्य है, चीन के सहयोग से लंबे समय से TRF को परिषद में संरक्षण प्रदान करता रहा है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, पाकिस्तान ने TRF का नाम 22 अप्रैल के पहलगाम आतंकी हमले की निंदा करने वाले यूएनएससी के बयान में शामिल होने से भी रोक दिया। TRF ने इस हमले की दो बार जिम्मेदारी ली है।

यूएनएससी 1267 पैनल:

संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद (UNSC) द्वारा 1999 में स्थापित 1267 प्रतिबंध समिति का उद्देश्य आईएसआईएस, अल-कायदा और उनके सहयोगी संगठनों से जुड़े आतंकवाद के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करना है। यह समिति ऐसे व्यक्तियों और संगठनों पर प्रतिबंध, संपत्ति जब्ती और यात्रा प्रतिबंध जैसे कठोर कदम लागू करती है, जो इन आतंकी नेटवर्कों से जुड़े होते हैं। ये उपाय यूएनएससी के रिज़ॉल्यूशन 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) और 2253 (2015) के तहत लागू किए जाते हैं। शीर्ष सूत्रों के अनुसार, भारत के पास पाकिस्तान की लश्कर-ए-तैयबा जैसे आतंकी संगठनों से लंबे समय से चली आ रही साठगांठ के पक्के खुफिया सबूत हैं। पहलगाम हमले की जांच का उद्देश्य इसी आतंकी नेटवर्क को बेनकाब करना है।

द रेसिस्टेंस फ्रंट (TRF), 2019 में जम्मू-कश्मीर से अनुच्छेद 370 हटाए जाने के बाद लश्कर-ए-तैयबा का छद्म संगठन बनकर उभरा। राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (NIA) की जांच में पुष्टि हुई है कि TRF घाटी में आतंकी हमलों की साजिश रचना, हत्याएं, आतंकियों की भर्ती और हथियारों की तस्करी जैसे मामलों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहा है।

भारत-पाकिस्तान संघर्ष :

गौरतलब है कि भारत सरकार ने पाकिस्तान की आतंकी साठगांठ को वैश्विक मंच पर उजागर करने का निर्णय ऐसे समय लिया है जब कुछ ही दिन पहले नई दिल्ली और इस्लामाबाद के बीच संघर्षविराम समझौता हुआ था। हालांकि, पहलगाम हमले के जवाब में, भारत ने ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ के तहत पाकिस्तान और पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर (PoK) में स्थित 9 आतंकी ठिकानों पर सटीक हमले किए। स्थिति तब और बिगड़ गई जब पाकिस्तान ने ड्रोन और मिसाइल हमलों के ज़रिए जम्मू-कश्मीर, पंजाब, हरियाणा और राजस्थान जैसे भारतीय राज्यों को निशाना बनाया। भारत के रक्षा प्रणाली ने सभी हमलों को प्रभावी ढंग से विफल किया और पूरी ताकत से जवाबी कार्रवाई की।

आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियान ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ की सफलता के उपलक्ष्य में आज भुवनेश्वर के कलिंगा स्टेडियम से एक भव्य तिरंगा बाइक रैली का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री मोहन चरण माझी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे और उन्होंने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रैली का शुभारंभ किया।

यह रैली सुबह 8 बजे कलिंगा स्टेडियम से शुरू होकर राजभवन तक पहुँची। इसमें पुलिस बल, सुरक्षाबल, जनप्रतिनिधि और आम नागरिकों ने भाग लिया। सभी ने हाथों में तिरंगा लेकर “वंदे मातरम्” के नारों के साथ बाइक चलाते हुए शहर का परिक्रमा किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ की सफलता के बाद यह तिरंगा बाइक रैली देश के आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियान को और अधिक मजबूती प्रदान करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जब सभी भारतीय जाति और धर्म की परवाह किए बिना तिरंगे के नीचे एकजुट होते हैं, तब कोई भी शक्ति हमारे खिलाफ सफल नहीं हो सकती। तिरंगे के तीन रंग हमें श्रद्धा, सौहार्द्र और बलिदान की प्रेरणा देते हैं। यह हमारे संकल्प, संघर्ष, त्याग और बलिदान का प्रतीक है।

उन्होंने यह भी याद दिलाया कि गत वर्ष 14 अगस्त को भी उन्होंने इसी प्रकार की तिरंगा यात्रा में भाग लिया था और उस समय लोगों में दिखा उत्साह अविस्मरणीय था। आज भी वही उत्साह पुनः देखने को मिला। उन्होंने कहा कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर की सफलता हमारी माताओं और बहनों के दृढ़ संकल्प का प्रमाण है। हमारी सेना के वीर जवानों ने देश की गरिमा की रक्षा की है। इसके लिए उन्होंने देश के वीर सैनिकों को हृदय से नमन किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में भारत सुरक्षित है। प्रधानमंत्री ने यह स्पष्ट किया है कि हर भारतीय की शांति और सुरक्षा के लिए भारत को शक्तिशाली बनना होगा। आवश्यकता पड़ने पर शक्ति का प्रदर्शन भी ज़रूरी है, और मोदी जी ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के माध्यम से यह सिद्ध कर दिया है। भारत किसी भी प्रकार की परमाणु धमकी से नहीं डरता – प्रधानमंत्री की यह दृढ़ चेतावनी आज संपूर्ण विश्व में गूंज रही है।

हर दुश्मन की चुनौती का उचित उत्तर देने के लिए हमारी सेना पूर्णतः तैयार है।

PM Modi Visits Adampur Airbase, Debunks Pakistan’s Claims of Its Destruction

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab on Tuesday, where he met with Indian Air Force personnel just days after a ceasefire agreement was reached between India and Pakistan.

The visit strongly counters Pakistan’s claims that it had destroyed the Indian Air Force base during recent hostilities in Punjab. The airbase, which houses the advanced S-400 air defence system, remains fully operational. PM Modi arrived early in the morning, received a detailed briefing from senior IAF officers, and spent time interacting with the armed forces personnel, according to PTI sources.

“Earlier this morning, I visited AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomize courage, determination, and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation,” the Prime Minister wrote on social media platform X.

The visit comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, triggered by the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, where 26 civilians lost their lives in an assault by Pakistan-backed terrorists. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terror camps across the border with precision strikes.

Following days of cross-border hostilities, both nations agreed to a ceasefire on May 10. However, India emphasized that the halt was only a “pause” in operations and that future military decisions would depend on Pakistan’s actions, which are under close scrutiny.

On Monday, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) from both countries held a second hotline call to reaffirm the ceasefire amid concerns over the growing threat of a war-like scenario between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

Operation Sindoor: Prime Minister Modi to Address the Nation at 8 PM Tonight

New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the nation at 8 PM today, marking his first public statement since the ceasefire was declared following four days of hostilities from Pakistan in the wake of Operation Sindoor.

Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 in direct response to the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.

The attack claimed 26 lives, including 24 Indian tourists, one tourist from Nepal, and a local pony handler. The victims were reportedly shot at close range after the attackers carried out religious profiling. The pony handler was killed while trying to protect one of the tourists.

A Pakistan-based proxy of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror group claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack. Investigations revealed that three of the five gunmen involved were Pakistani nationals. As national outrage intensified, the Indian government initiated a series of strong diplomatic measures, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, cancelling visas of Pakistani nationals, and closing the Attari border crossing.

On May 7, India carried out precision strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure across nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operations destroyed the headquarters of both Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Approximately 100 terrorists were killed, including individuals linked to the 2019 Pulwama attack and the 1999 hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight IC 814.

Among those killed were five high-value operatives: Mudassar Khadian Khas and Khalid alias Abu Akasha of Lashkar-e-Taiba; and Mohammed Yusuf Azhar, Hafiz Mohammed Jaleel, and Mohammad Hassan Khan of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Mohammed Yusuf Azhar, a key figure in Jaish and the brother-in-law of its founder Masood Azhar, was a wanted fugitive for his role in the IC 814 hijacking. He was one of the masterminds behind diverting the plane to Kandahar, Afghanistan—an incident that resulted in the release of Masood Azhar from Indian custody.

In response to India’s strikes, Pakistan launched a series of drone and missile attacks along the borders in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Punjab. Shelling across the Line of Control and the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, which had resumed following India’s diplomatic actions, also escalated.

India retaliated with a calibrated military campaign targeting key Pakistani military installations. These included airbases and facilities at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sargodha, and Bholari. The Indian Air Force also struck radar stations near Lahore and Gujranwala in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Deep-strike operations were conducted against radar sites, command and control centers, and ammunition depots in Rafiqui, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Sialkot.

The armed forces, acting with full autonomy granted by Prime Minister Modi, described the strikes as an extension of Operation Sindoor.

On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire. Soon after, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed the development. However, the Indian government made no mention of U.S. involvement, stating that the ceasefire was reached after a senior Pakistani military official contacted India, leading to a discussion between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of both countries.

India has made it clear that any future act of terror originating from Pakistan will be treated as an act of war, warranting a decisive and proportional response.

Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, sources report that Pakistan launched a Fateh-2 ballistic missile towards Delhi, which was successfully intercepted near Sirsa. According to top government officials cited by News18, the attempted missile strike marks a significant escalation and, if confirmed, could represent a major loss for Pakistan’s aerial capabilities.

The conflict intensified late Friday and into early Saturday, when India launched retaliatory air strikes targeting Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, including three key airbases: Nur Khan (Rawalpindi), Rafiqi (Shorkot), and Murid (Chakwal). Pakistani military spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry confirmed the attacks, stating that while airbases were targeted, all Pakistani Air Force assets remained unharmed.

Blackouts and Drone Incursions Across India

In response to the growing threat, India imposed a complete blackout in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor region on May 10, following explosions and sirens reported in the area. Similar blackouts were enforced in parts of Punjab, including Jalandhar, after multiple drone sightings.

“We have imposed a temporary blackout due to drone sightings. Security checks are underway. Citizens are urged to stay calm and follow protocol,” said the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar.

Security sources reported the presence of suspected armed Pakistani drones at 26 locations across India, from Baramulla in the north to Bhuj in the south, including along the International Border and Line of Control. In one incident, a drone strike injured members of a family in Punjab’s Ferozepur. Emergency services responded promptly, and the area has since been secured.

Pakistan Claims India May Launch Military Action Within 24–36 Hours Over Pahalgam Attack

Pakistan on Wednesday claimed it has received “credible intelligence” suggesting that India is planning a military response within the next 24 to 36 hours following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam. The attack, carried out by terrorists allegedly backed by Pakistan’s military and intelligence establishment, claimed 26 lives.

Pakistan’s Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, accused the Indian government of preparing military action based on what he called “baseless and fabricated allegations” of Islamabad’s involvement in the incident. He also warned of consequences if any military steps are taken.

The statement followed a high-level security meeting chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, during which he reportedly gave the armed forces “full operational freedom” to determine the timing and nature of a response, according to government sources cited by PTI.

Tensions between the two nations have sharply risen since the Pahalgam attack last week. PM Modi had earlier vowed that those responsible — including their “backers” — would be “identified, tracked, and punished,” promising to pursue them to the “ends of the earth” as India intensified its diplomatic pressure on Pakistan.

In his statement, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar emphasized that Pakistan has also suffered from terrorism and has consistently condemned it in all its forms. He said Islamabad had offered a “credible, transparent, and independent” investigation into the Pahalgam attack through a neutral panel of experts, accusing India of rejecting the proposal and opting for a confrontational stance.

Pakistan also called on the international community to remain vigilant, warning that any military action by India would be met with a “firm and decisive” response. Islamabad asserted that responsibility for any escalation and its consequences would rest entirely with New Delhi.

Meanwhile, India has announced a series of retaliatory measures against Pakistan. These include the expulsion of Pakistani military attachés, the suspension of the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, the cancellation of all visas issued to Pakistani nationals since April 27, and the immediate shutdown of the Attari land border transit post.

The 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was commemorated with great enthusiasm today across several villages in the Gunupur region of Rayagada district. Organized by the CPI (ML) Liberation, the celebration took place in Lugurutal, Rijigantal, Chalkamba, Koili Kata, and surrounding areas.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, born on April 14, 1891, was a pioneering Indian jurist, economist, and social reformer. He chaired the Drafting Committee of the Indian Constitution, which drew heavily from the initial draft prepared by Sir Benegal Narsing Rau. Ambedkar also served as the first Law and Justice Minister in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. A staunch advocate of social equality, he later embraced Buddhism, rejecting the caste hierarchy embedded in Hinduism.

An accomplished scholar, Ambedkar completed his education at Elphinstone College under the University of Bombay before earning doctorates in economics from Columbia University and the London School of Economics. He also studied law at Gray’s Inn in London.

Speaking at the event, CPI (ML) Liberation District Secretary Tripati Gamang voiced concern over the Modi government’s recent actions, alleging attempts to dilute the essence of Ambedkar’s Constitution. He cited the introduction of the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha—passed without consultation with opposition parties—as an example. Gamang claimed the bill threatens the cultural and religious autonomy of the Muslim community.
