“Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer Ather has unveiled its latest model, the Ather Rizta, in the Indian market. Positioned to compete with offerings like the TVS iQube, Ola S1, and Hero Vida V1, this electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).”

New Delhi. (09:04): The new electric scooter, Ather Rizta, has been introduced by Bengaluru-based manufacturer Ather in the Indian market. Positioned to compete with rivals such as TVS iQube, Ola S1, and Hero Vida V1, the company has strategically priced the scooter at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a formidable contender in its segment. The Ather Rizta comes in three variants, including Rizta S with a 2.9 kWh battery and Rizta Z with a 3.7 kWh battery.

In terms of design, the scooter boasts a sharp and sleek profile with a minimalist aesthetic. The base variant, Rizta S, is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh, while the Rizta Z variant offers additional features and color options at Rs 1.25 lakh. The variant equipped with the 2.9 kWh battery pack boasts a claimed range of 123 km, while the model with the 3.7 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of 160 km. All variants have a top speed limited to 80 km/h. The Ather Rizta S is available in three monotone colors, whereas the Rizta Z offers seven color options, including three monotone and four dual-tone choices. Both models feature two riding modes – Zip and SmartEco.

In terms of safety, the Rizta comes with advanced features such as traction control system, skid control system, emergency stop signal (ESS), theft and tow detection system, along with ride assist features like auto hold and reverse mode. The base-spec model features a 7-inch LCD display, while the other two variants are equipped with 7-inch TFT displays.

In addition to the scooter launch, Ather also introduced the Halo helmets, including the Halo Bit priced at Rs 4,999 and the Halo priced at Rs 14,999, with a Rs 2,000 discount available on pre-orders.
