Raipur. (14:03): The state sports investiture ceremony is set to take place today at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital city of Raipur. The event will commence at 11 am and will feature participation from players across the state. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will grace the occasion as the chief guest, honoring the talented players of the state. The program will be chaired by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, with Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, along with Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma, serving as special guests. The State Sports Investiture Ceremony is being organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the NIA residential complex today via video conferencing at 5 pm.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be engaged in various programs in Raipur. He will attend the state investiture ceremony at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Auditorium at 11 am and then participate in the Vikas Bharat Vikas Chhattisgarh program in Mohla at 12:50 pm, where he will lay the foundation stone for various development projects. Returning to Raipur at 4:30 pm, he will attend the closing ceremony of a state-level sports competition. Later, at 6:10 pm, CM Sai will inaugurate the newly constructed Sainik Rest Home complex at the Rajya Sainik Board premises before returning to Raipur.
On the other hand, Congress Lok Sabha candidate and former CM Bhupesh Baghel will be visiting Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district today. Starting from his residence in Bhilai at 11 am, Baghel will hold meetings with the city and rural block congress committees in Khairagarh, Chhuikhadan, and Gandai. Additionally, he will participate in local programs and visit the Ram temple before returning to his Bhilai residence at 5:20 pm.
