Janjgir/Champa. (28:04): The internal discord within the Congress party in Chhattisgarh persists as leaders and workers continue to leave amid the Lok Sabha elections. In another blow to the party, Congress state secretary Raghavendra Pandey has resigned. He submitted his resignation letter to the state organization, citing internal strife within the party as the reason. This is not the first instance of Congress members expressing dissatisfaction or feeling neglected within the party; there have been previous instances of rebellion.
Pandey had previously posted on social media about a party leader threatening him with violence. He wrote on Facebook about receiving threats of being shot and urged people to attend his funeral if anything were to happen to him.
