Amit Shah praised Chhattisgarh’s Naxal strategy, prompting the Chief Minister’s gratitude. He emphasized opposition empowerment of Naxalites and vowed to escalate the fight

Raipur. (16:05): Home Minister Amit Shah commended the Chhattisgarh government for its remarkable achievements in the ongoing fight against Naxalites since the Vishnu government came to power. Shah stated that in just four and a half months after the BJP took office in Chhattisgarh, 112 Naxalites were killed, 375 surrendered, and 153 were arrested. He emphasized the success of the campaign as evidence of the strong anti-Naxal stance of the double engine government. He predicted that in the next 2-3 years, the country will be free from the Naxal problem, despite Congress labeling it as fake encounters.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai expressed gratitude for the praise from Home Minister Amit Shah, highlighting the government’s progress under his guidance towards a permanent solution to the Naxal problem. Despite opposition politics fueling the Naxalites, the government is committed to fighting until the end, with India determined to eradicate all forms of terrorism under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Since the BJP came to power in Chhattisgarh, the fight against Naxalism has intensified. In just four and a half months, continuous efforts have led to the killing, arrest, or surrender of Naxalites, bringing them back into mainstream society.
