Akash Yadav initiated postal voting through mandatory service

Sarangarh/Bilaigarh. (27:04): Under mandatory service, photographer Akash (Parmeshwar) Yadav initiated postal voting at the Postal Vote Facilitation Center located in the Collectorate Office Sarangarh. The facility for postal voting for essential service personnel is available at the Collectorate office premises in Sarangarh until May 6, 2024. Additionally, the district administration has arranged for government officers and employees to vote through postal ballots on April 28 at Swami Atmanand Government English School, Sarangarh.

For officers and employees of the Police (Home) Department, the facility is available at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Sarangarh, on April 29 and 30, 2024. These services are accessible from 9 am to 5 pm at all locations. During the Lok Sabha elections 2024, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, there is provision for officers on election duty, employees, essential service category voters, and absentee voters to vote at convenience centers through postal ballots.
