The case against Rashid stemmed from an incident on May 15, 2010, when truck driver Ramnarayan Nai went missing along with a shipment of iron from Raigarh to Ghaziabad. It was revealed through investigation that Rashid, along with Pawan Yadav, Sarveshwar Yadav, and Malikhan Singh, had conspired to murder Ramnarayan and steal the iron cargo.
Following the murder, a dispute arose among the perpetrators over the stolen goods, leading to further complications in the case. Rashid had managed to evade arrest while his accomplices were apprehended and charged accordingly.
To capture Rashid, Inspector Shrinath Tripathi and his team from Kapitalpathra Police conducted a thorough investigation. Acting under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, Additional SP Mr. Akash Markam, and DSP Mr. Abhinav Upadhyay, the team successfully located and arrested Rashid in Nuh, Haryana.
