Sarangarh/Bilaigarh. (07:05): Under the guidance of Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Dharmesh Kumar Sahu and Sweep Nodal Officer Mr. Harishankar Chauhan, a voter awareness campaign, rally, invitation, and “Ghar Aaja Sangi” program were conducted.
In the “Ghar Aaja Sangi” program aimed at migrated voters, the entire district administration, including Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, personally called and invited them to vote. This initiative had a significant impact, prompting voters to return to their villages from various cities to cast their votes on polling day. For instance, a couple from Sundarbhatha village in the Sarangarh development block returned from Lucknow with their child. Similarly, Mrs. Kachra Bai from Khamhardih village in the Sarangarh Assembly constituency returned with her son Vijay and daughter-in-law Yashoda.
