Raigarh. (02:04): On March 31, 2024, a liquor raid led by Police Station Incharge Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj was conducted in Ambedkar Nagar Kashiram Chowk.
Acting on information from an informant, the police team searched an old kutcha house near Keshav Banjare’s residence, where they discovered 7 liters of Mahua liquor stored in plastic containers, totaling 11 bulk liters. This liquor, valued at approximately Rs 1,650, was seized on the spot in the presence of witnesses. The accused, Keshav Banjare, faces charges under Section 34(2) and 59(a) of the Excise Act at Jutmil police station. Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj led the operation, assisted by head constable Virendra Bhagat and constables Lakheshwar Purseth and Shashibhushan Sahu.
