Raigarh. (21:04): A pickup carrying women overturned in Amlidih of Gharghoda block. Approximately 30 women from Bahirkela village of Gharghoda were en route to Janjgir village of Tamnar for a Chhathi program when the accident occurred.
Treatment for the injured is underway at CHC Gharghoda. Collector Karthikeya Goyal has instructed officials to provide prompt treatment and assistance. SDM Gharghoda Ramesh Mor is at the hospital with his team. Around 20 women were injured, with 5 referred to the medical college for further treatment. However, all are in stable condition. The remaining 15 women with minor injuries are receiving primary treatment at CHC Gharghoda. The pickup driver has absconded, and an investigation is underway.
