Durg. (05:05): A fire broke out at Bhilai Steel Plant at 1 am due to a ladle puncture in SMS 3. Upon receiving the information, the BSP fire brigade team promptly reached the spot and managed to control the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident, but the BSP management has incurred losses worth lakhs.
Experts suggest that while ladle punctures are common incidents, this time the ladle released a significant amount of material, resulting in the fire. Currently, efforts are underway to remove the waste from the ladle. Additionally, BSP management has initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
